Ketron is Tennessee Insuror of the Year
Senator receives honor from the Insurors of Tennessee

Nashville, Tenn.  – Sen. Bill Ketron (R-Murfreesboro) was recently presented the prestigious “Insuror of the Year” Award by the Insurors of Tennessee. 

“Senator Ketron brings a unique understanding of insurance and workers compensation to the Tennessee Senate,” said Insurors CEO Chuck Bidek.  “As an independent agent for many years, he understands how insurance affects the daily lives of the citizens of our state.  We are proud to recognize his many achievements by naming him as our 2007 Insuror of the Year.”

Ketron, who serves as the principal agent for Universal International, Inc. in Murfreesboro, was first elected to the State Senate in 2002 after serving on the Rutherford County Commission.  He is currently the Chairman of the Senate State and Local Government Committee.

Insurors of Tennessee is a trade association that was founded in 1893 and currently represents nearly 600 independent insurance agencies in Tennessee.  Members offer consumers a choice of insurance companies, advocacy and professional advice for all of their insurance needs.
