Local family visits legislature to promote home schools

(NASHVILLE, TN), April 16, 2008  -- The Taylor family of Seymour, Tennessee were among hundreds of students and parents that recently went to Capitol Hill to talk to legislators about home schools.   Lisa Taylor, along with children Lydia, Luke, Anne, Rebekah, Abigail, Grace and Phillip visited with Senator Raymond Finney (R-Maryville) who represents them in the Tennessee State Senate.  The family participated in the efforts of the Tennessee Home Education Association (THEA), which educates state lawmakers on home classrooms. 

"It was an honor to visit with the Taylor family and all of our home school students and parents,” said Senator Finney.
