Sumner Regional Airport Awarded Grant

Nashville, Tenn. – Sen. Diane Black (R-Gallatin) along with the Department of Transportation Commissioner Gerald F. Nicely are proud to announce that the Sumner Regional Airport will be receiving financial assistance for the design and construction of a hanger.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has secured federal funds to cover 90 percent of the Vision 100 project for the airport.

“The Sumner Regional Airport is a great asset for our community,” said Black.  “This is a great example of what can happen when federal, state and local government work together.”
