Senate Republican Caucus Unveils Website Nashville, Tenn. – Senate Republican Caucus Chairman Diane Black (R-Gallatin) is proud to announce the launch of www.tnsenate.com. The website will feature the members and work of the Senate Republican Caucus. “The Caucus is excited to provide an additional tool for the citizens of this state to keep in touch with the legislature,” said Black. “For too long the legislature has been viewed as a group of ‘good old boys’ in smoke-filled rooms. Tennesseans need to know that a new day has dawned on the state Senate with new leadership and a new vision.” Designed to make legislative information more readily available to the public, the site offers numerous tools for citizens to keep in touch with their state Senate. Users will find information about proposed legislation, photos, and news from each Senator. “One of our goals this session is to capitalize on the sense of renewal the election of new leadership has brought to Nashville,” said Senate Republican Leader Mark Norris (R-Collierville). “Increased access enhances interaction which can make government more relevant in the daily lives of Tennesseans.” The website provides important links to the Legislature’s Bill Tracking page and the Senate Video Streaming page. The website was not developed nor is it maintained at taxpayer expense. ### |
